Part 1: From Air to Water

In this section, you can see the first set of liquid cooling modifications that I made to my Mac. Although this setup worked well, its final downfall was the sheer number of fans required to keep the air moving, and their small size: 80mm and below.

The main issue came from the 80x15mm fan on the back of the radiator. It was the key to the whole cooling system, pulling air through the radiator that was supplied by the front fans, but exhibited a tendency to get noisy when the temperature got higher; despite being a very quiet, very effective fan for its size.

A final page is still to be added, showing the 'perfected' version of this setup with a few fan changes. If you did decide to go down this route, I would recommend checking out this final page for a rundown of the best parts to use.
